Thanks Very much appreciate the thread ;)

I;ve found a manufacturer in Wales willing to take a mould from mine and manufacture a test pair in Polycarbonate, that might work also and offer some protection, would be cheap and easy to colour-code.

I'll keep you posted - might be a few weeks but with a suitable size batch should be cost effective, cheap material and easily replaced.

I have a spare cover in brandnew condition, But does Not have magnesium written on it!, I bought for my 1100s. But never used

Does it have the threaded holes either side of the spark plug hole for the carbon cover attachment? If so it is for a BCR and I might be interested if the price is right :wink:
