I'll reserve judgment untill at least Jerez, what knackered Michelin last year was the change in the rules, which stopped e'm practiseing friday, fireing data to the factory and haveing tyres flown in overnight,as soon as Bridgestone wised up to it,they got it stopped, hence Michelin's demise last year, this year they were testing at the track the week before the GP,so they had all the data and of course the right tyres,it'll be interesting to see how things pan out at Jerez,as for Toseland, certainley shaken a few apples of the tree, thats for sure, and i should imagine he'll get the new engine a lot sooner.
Scott Redding - youngest ever (just turned 15) rider on the front row of a GP event...and fifth in the race - looked like a podium for a while. Bradley Smith was dominant all week and was on pole, started good and then dropped back suddenly when his steering damper fell off his bike, and finally Danny Webb worked his way up the field to finish a PB sixth.
It showed once again what a dedicated and professional rider James is. A credit and worthy of everyones support. He is certainly head and shoulders above our other recent 'efforts'. However getting to the number one spot will require a lot af skill and some luck but hopefully if he gets the right kit and doesn't crash himself into oblivion trying we just may see something special.
He looked very smooth and calculating for his first GP as I'm sure the temptation was there to push just a bit too hard. However I thought the 'push' on Lorenzo showed he will mix it when he has to.
As for the 125 boys. What can you say. Still babies and riding with the best. A 125 win this season must be on the cards. Hopefully such successes will see British rider profiles improved and more sponsorship forthcoming.

The other thing to remember is that Qatar is a track he knows very well. There's a lot others out there he has never ridden which will make it velly interesting.

What amazed me most was how, in these days of trying to be environmentally friendly, they were able to hold the event at night.
Just how many million Gigawatt Hours of leccy did they get through! Enough to run shed loads of Flux Capacitors!
I think just because they could doesn't mean they should.
The race was good though, and the bikes did look super shiny with all those lights reflecting off them. A bit like being in the jewellers.
So back to the question, what the hell is Stoners team mate playing at? maybe his traction control is switched off, you know the device that gives Stoner such a big advantage over everyone else..
