I'm hoping that this should now have a picture of my BCR , my Thundercat, and my dad's K1. Photo taken like so as I had them all out washing them yesterday...
and the sign said long haired freakish people need not apply...

Nice line up - not sure about the styling of the K-1 though :?

I can remember when I was just getting into bikes and BMW launched the K1. It was really quite different at the time (it's really quite different now), it's probably just the all enclosing front mudguard that dates it. However at the time I thought it looked awesome and I'd have one in my garage if pennies weren't so tight for nostalgia value alone, then I'd have a Katana which really hasn't dated and then I'd have a...

Blackal - The BCR looks so much like yours that you once thought it was yours :lol:

Red - I remember the K1 from when i was a kid, round about 8 or 9, at that time i thought the styling was awesome, but only the blue and the red models (didn't like the black). When you see just it side on, and with it's rear seat cowl on it possibly doesn't look quite as dated as it does from the angle in this photo. I would however say that "it's just not my thing" although my dad ensures me it is/was an awesome machine to ride and cover distance on.....
