Opinions please

I'm thinking about selling my BCR and would like the opinion of fellow Trixters regarding value - I haven't mastered posting pics so what do you think from my description

Good bits
approx 22000 miles
1 year MOT
New Michelin Pilot Road IVs (less than 200 miles)
serviced every year by independent BMW specialist unless it has been SORNed
bodywork good
full luggage

Bad bits
skanky engine
forks going the same way
bottom yoke needs painting
rear frame needs painting

I'm really not sure if I should sell or keep and refurb the bad bits or possibly part ex against something different. I'm finding that I chose the 12S over the BCR even to the extent of using a back pack for work

£3,800. (+180 for luggage/racks)

I would think that in good/great condition - you're looking at £4,500 (maybe slightly more) (+luggage and frames)

So - work back from £4,500 factoring the work to be done?

(Adjust if full decatted Remus/Staintune/VDL etc fitted.)

BUT..........

It's an individual bike, that has surprised many - with the right buyer??

Dave, that's a very contrite ad for encouraging silly offers, Sell the bike for its good points, you obviously are focussing on the negatives and a new buyer may be more enthusiastic and see beyond the cosmetic failure of bmw`s crap paint system.

I would delete this post if you are serious about selling.

This site is full of chancers and purloiners.
