Got the chance to buy the above from a seller not far from my home. Anyone have EMC shocks fitted? Are they vastly superior to stock? Just bought my 2003 BCR rep so trying to get feedback before committing. Also, any views on the air filter assembly ( part has an alloy top and bottom with a K and N type filter fitted) worth doing on its own other than the longer life of the filter compared to stock?
Regards
Bob

Depends on the price of the shocks of course - but just about any aftermarket shock will be better - especially if it has adjustability.
Check the spring rate, but it is doubtful if it would be more of a compromise than the stock BMW one.
The air filter should be a defo improvement, and they don't come up often (SJ Superfilter?)
There is a home-made variant (search for "Singleton") that would work out cheaper, but it can be a scutter to seal.

If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......
Then plug me back in..........
See if that works .....
