Hi Chris

It appears that there isn't much availability in Jedburgh that weekend and some of the B&B's you had noted for this year seem to be booked up or wanting a minimum number of nights.

Nothing showing on booking.com in Jedburgh either, only nearby

Have you pre-booked everything in advance for the Boxertrix collective? :D

Cheers

I'd be up for that Chris, I thought your route this year was the best of any trixter weekend so far, it'd be a shame to shorten it and miss out on that beautiful coast.

My advice on bookings is to ring/email. the provider direct and negotiate with them. I think that online bookings this far in advance will be blocked out by the providers ESPECIALLY with booking .com as they take a whopping 15pc of the booking. Nothing special on in the Town this weekend , that is why it was selected.

I will firm up this post with a new list of accom providers and phone no`s later this weekend.

re the route, thanks for the feedback Steve. Noted.

BTW Gentlemen Any more photies of last years run?

Updated.

Small, friendly, popular town, limited accommodation, time to be thinking about reserving your accom. if you are planning to come. :)

Me and Dave are booked into the Royal Hotel again, I was looking for somewhere a little nicer but most have no vacancies :(

The Royal still has 5 twin rooms available as of this AM.

Cheers

Top tip, if you haven`t..... contact providers directly as they automatically block out availability from the likes of booking.com, late rooms and expedia when they know they can fill up with passing trade and direct bookings.

as of 2.30 pm today, GlenBank Hotel showing 4 rooms, Allerton House 1 room left, Castlemount 2 rooms left Meadon House 4 rooms left. Spread Eagle Hotel has vacancies too.
