GLOVES WITH MITTS?

Post by el-nicko »

Many years ago I had a pair of motorcycling gloves (Since lost in a house move. Me, not the house  ) that had, on the back of the hand, a pocket which contained a Hi-Viz, waxed cotton over-mitt that could be unfurled and worn over the fingers during cold/wet conditions. Does any fellow trixter know if it's still possible to buy them?

It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.

Can't really help on that specific one, but I've been thinking about these which do a similar job:

I normally use a pair of marigolds over my summer gloves which do the job in the worse rain and (with heated grips) in grim winter but the shops only sell up to a 'L' size which is a tight fit over bike gloves. I've seen some 'industrial' types on Amazon for under a fiver which look promising so I might give them a go. Funky fluro colours too.
