I notice F90X has the same problem as me.... the starter motor cover slipping away.

Just a rubber bung and a bolt on the inner side to hold it on... Why is is it like that.... Is this a result of some sort of evolution.... I cannot believe BMW designed it that way from sratch. :?:

Has any one over come this..... Sorry I one of those nurds who walks into a room and sees immediately the sloping picture frame.... it takes all sorts!!

I would like to post some pictures of my new bike...................................... but it has not come yet. It was picked up in Berlin on thursday last and, if I can believe the transport guy, should be here by end of Jan. This is getting frustrating but at least I still have my Ducati. We went out for a spin (Me and my Duc) and ended up doing around 450 Km on the most gorgeous roads in absolutely fantastic weather. Wish I had my Beemer!!!!!! :( sigh.

Karlos.... what do you think of the spanish roads then.... much better than in the UK.??

In Costa Calida (Murcia) I bet they are even more quiet than the Blanca.

I look forward to your piccies when you get the bike..... The best pose for the bike is with the sea and sun behind the bike.... preferably a few palm trees.... that really gets the UK lot going.... poor bastards at the moment

Hi Stuart,
Yes definately muuuuuuch better than the roads in the U.K. better than the roads in Germany as well, at least those around the NRW area, where I used to live many years ago.
You may be right about the roads being quieter down there around Murcia but I reckon there are a lot more twisties around here and the further you get away from the coast the quieter they are.
If you don´t believe me take a ride up here and I would be more than willing to give you (and any other Boxertrixter around) a guided tour of the roads that I have on my doorstep.
Forgive me for asking but what´s the weather like over there in the U.K. at the moment lads?? snigger, snigger

Un saludo

Just the usual Karlos; 6 months of winter closely followed by 6 months of bad weather. :(

Well I live at about 900 feet, just off the Penine Way and the local town was cut-off today by flooding.
