another northener wants to say hello

Post by madbutcher »

Hi Thought i would just introduce myself the names keith i live at moss which is 8miles north of doncaster im 54 years young and very good looking yet modest. After 20 or more years riding jap bikes i have finaly been tempted into a very nice r1100s. As my last bike was a vfr vtec i thought nothing could match it how wrong could i be. I had always been put off the r series by the bluddy cylinders sticking out always afraid they would scrape. I was under the illusion that over 500cc each side must be the worst configuration ever for smoothness. WRONG again this r1100s in my opinion is smoother has more guts and is better built than the vfr not to say the vfr was a bad bike. Anyway enough babbling on about how much im impressed by it hope to meet up on some ride outs this summer. ps great site this innit

Welcome fellow northern bloke - Chubbs here, residing in Killamarsh, working in Worksop. I too have been a Jap bike fan forever & am a convert to the mighty R1100s.

Regards from the chubby one - Neil.

We have quite a northern fellowship developing, let's hope we can match the numbers of southern softies at Betwys

If anyone sees a white, liveried Mailbox Dullville heading into/out of Leeds give us a wave!!!!
