Creep up on the cat, grab it by the scruff of the neck and stuff it in a sack. Weigh down the sack with big rocks and, undercover of darkness, toss the sack into the deepest water available
If you must run a standard system then you can expect poor fueling from most peoples experience here.

Expect a visit from the RSPCA anytime now.I always knew you had something against cats. Now i know.
My suspicions were aroused when i saw your dogs. One of them looks like kate moss!Very underfed in my opinion!

ps He,s right about the standard setup.Humanley dispose the cat, pull the cat code plug if its still there.(do a search)Get the bike tuned up,new plugs, throttle balance etc.Mine pinked like a good en when standard.

Ok then where's the best place to buy a y piece currently ? And thanks for the advice. Nigel B

We ought Remus Y pices for our bikes as they have the centre stand bracket on them. I think that cost around £145 each from a Kings Lynn company who had a stand at the BMF.
I must admit that I removed the mounying bar from both of them as it was in the wrong position and the rubbers used to come out of the frame after a 30 mile ride. Not suffered any problems without the bar.
I dont like jokes about cruelty to animals in any shape or form I take great offence to them when I hear them Jokes about colour creed or religion i will take with a pinch of salt and may or may not laugh.
People that are cruel to animals In my humble opinion should be beaten with a very large stick untill they are a bloody mass, and should the law bw this then I will gladly be the person with the big stick.
Years ago when I was scuba diving on ocassion when the weather was bad and we could not go out to sea we would just for the hell of it go dive in the river Thames.
So one day there was this perfectly good sack on the bottom of the river with a knot tied in it so being the inquisitive sort of person that I am I cut ther sack open and inside were 4 small white what looked like china dogs only they were not china they were 4 VERY FUCKING DEAD WHITE BOXERS because years ago when your Boxer bitch gave birth to white pups they were regarded as deformed and would degrade the breed.
So once again please no sack jokes as I take it VERY personally.
Finally fitted a remus y piece ,(haven't ridden the bike yet ). The cat code plug is the one at the front of the left hand relay box? . Is it just an empty yellow relay box with 2 shorted pins?. Runs ok with or without although looking at the exhaust ports when fitting the y piece it looked like the l/h pot was running lean previously (or was the r/h running rich?). Either way i've at least got rid of that death rattle from the cat.

Not always yellow. Different markets have different coloured cat code plugs - they use different terminals to use different maps in the ecu!!
These two dyno runs are with (red) and without (blue) the cat code plug.
The bottom line is not torque, but a reading from the exhaust showing degree of richness. These runs by the way were on a dyno that measures under load - unlike most of the dynos around these days.
Thanks for that , does that mean that its running richer everywhere over 3800 rpm (without the plug) ?

Oooops!!!! Forgot to mention that those dyno runs were done with lambda sensor disconnected! Therefore there was nothing trying to compensate for the apparent richer mixture.
Mind you - at those revs, the sensor would probably have no effect at all.
Thanks again , i've run it without the plug , it's definitely better without the cat and fuel consumption is only marginally worse although if i give it stick under load , still pinking although not as bad as before.
Anyone ever use injector cleaner ( i'm clutching at straws now and if so what brand?)
