Had my first dose on Saturday at midday.
By 6.00pm I had a raging headache and by 9.00pm was floored with a 39* temperature and full blown fever.
Two duvets on the bed, wore my biking under thermals and wooly hat and socks because I felt freezing even with the CH turned up and sweating profusely.
Up every 2 hours for a pint of water and a leak and it only stopped by Monday lunchtime.
Still feel all joints aching and sluggish, just tired now.
Seems I know 4 people who have had the same - AZ Oxford vaccine as myself and a full blown fever.
Also know 6 people who had the Pfizer and had no side effects or fever at all.
Good luck boys (and girls) with whatever version you get.
I was doing a job where a youngish chap lived, maybe in his early twenties, he had AstraZeneca and had sweats and felt awful, me and K had Phizer, I had bad pain at the injection site for 24hrs, K had severe pain all down the side of her side of the injection for 36hrs. All good now

I woke up at 1am with uncontrollable shaking, and felt cold. So cold, that before getting up for a piss - I knew I would need a fleece on to make it to the bathroom!
Went back to bed and felt fine by morning - when I went to mop the bathroom floor.
They do recommend taking paracetemols starting in afternoon, as a precaution. There is also the belief that people who have had covid before - have a greater reaction to the vaccine. I think a lot of people have had covid in the last year with nary a symptom.
If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......
Then plug me back in..........
Hmm, I had the AZ- - Oxford on Mon morning, joints ache like never before and I'm having regular sneezing fits now. Still glad I've had it and look forward to a summer full of biking!!
Chatting to friends, everybody who has had a reaction received the AZ vaccine, the 5 of us in the family who have had the Pfizer one have been ok.
Al.

Wife and her sister had the AZ and apart from a bit of tenderness at the injection site, no issues at all. Had it at work on the Monday and carried on through the rest of the week. Mum had the Pfizer and didn't feel too well for two days afterwards with flu like symptoms. Depends on the individual I suppose and not so much the vaccine.
