I picked this up last week, one owner MU SE with only 8k miles from new....lovely! :D After much thought, I decided I'd be happier going aircooled rather than water, I like doing my own servicing and the tech in the new bikes, especially earlier ones, fills me with dread! It's got the comfort seat, which initially felt 'thinner' than standard, but turned out to be genuinely more comfy! :)

Looks like a great buy Pete and glad you are not suffering enough with your injuries from the 'prang' to put you off or stop you riding your new bike home 8) Enjoy Mate :D

It was a very steady ride home from Middlesbrough, nearly all dual carriageway/motorway, so fairly relaxed! I was a bit nervous of junctions on the last 4 or 5 miles of A roads near home, but I'll get over it!

Nice looking bike Pete. Had a major off myself back in the day with a year off for me and the wife. It takes a little while but your confidence will build

Very smart looking bike. Enjoy!
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
