Rear rack enquiry.

Post by 2Twins »

Hello all

Can anyone recommend a rear rack that will fit onto a 11S with the standard pannier racks please?

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers

As above - the givi ain’t exactly ‘pleasing to the eye’ - but works.

Ventura rack and support arms also fit- along with the BMW pannier rails and panniers. ( I google-imaged to make sure)

Not aware of any other system, on what was a fairly low-production 20-yr old model now.

I fitted a Givi E36 to mine once - too big a box, and it sits way out there.
If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......
Then plug me back in..........

See if that works .....

I have fitted both in the past. I can confirm that the Givi arms and base plate work with bmw standard pannier rails. I recommend only using a single helmet size top box. It looks ok and proportionate. Be mindful of manufacturers loading requirements. If you overload the rear end it makes for fun squirting out of hairpins uphill.
