I never "get" sidecar outfits, still stuck in traffic, still stuck in weather. I think I'd prefer a nice MX5 :D

Each to their own I guess but my sentiments exactly. Just buy a convertible.

Ha ha ha ...

I had an MX5 for 3 months ...

Waste of time as cars go .

Barely fit a shoe box in the boot ....

No tow bar available ...

Its gone now , and have a decent size toyota now .

So I can tow my race bike ( KTM) to events , with all my kit .
Old man ... now .

It's a convertible. It goes without saying that it'll have a small boot. Did you not notice when you bought it? If you were considering a tow bar then I'm going to suggest that you bought the incorrect car in the first place.
For someone that wants a fun car (or second car) that isn't needed to transport loads of gear or pull a trailer it's probably not a waste of time.
