Which Air Filter & plugs

Hi
Looking at replacing the air filter for a K&N or a BMC, any difference between them ? Only on my 750 SRAD Suzuki there was much better flow with a BMC, supposedly .
Or is there another option without breaking the bank ?
Also what plugs do you recommend ?

I have the K&N. I felt there is a bit more oomph at Snetterton at the BMW club track day last Monday.

NGK spark plugs but that is down to preference.
