Best quickshifter R1200s

I have been spoilt the last few years having bikes with quickshifter a most recently my S1000XR and want to fit a shifter my 2006 R1200s

Anyone got advice where and what to or not to get

Planning to go to hillside and see Geoff for a tune anyway

Hello,

You can do it. I have a Power Commander III on mine with a Multi Hub (not necessary if you only want a quick shifter). You will need a suitable Dynojet quickshifter unit which you have to fit to the shifting rod. It is the "Pull" type you need.

Then you can tinker with the settings to your hearts content.

I hada BMW one on my K1300S before it was stolen so it was a necessity for me to have on the R1200S.

Boxertrix man "nicholsonj2252" has also done it and if you look carefully you can just see it on the second picture of my motorcycle in this thread.

There may be other ways but this is the only one I know of.

I used a Multi-Hub to fit mine becasue I also have the Map Switch and the LCD Display.
