Guys,
Can anyone verify if its OK to use the jubilee type clip (such as those on ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MINI-FUEL-LIN ... 339aef86a4)) on your fuel lines (both breather & those on the filter itself).
I know you can get replacement ones from motorworks does both fixed & re-usable type.
A certain Mr Chris Harris on youtube highlights this is not the way to go (or is he simply referring to your standard jubilee type clip? See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wr_Hs_IBcY

Don't worry, I was told that they're what BMW fit when the accountant isn't looking & are on some bikes, the reason they aren't on others is cost.
I replaced some hose last year and used some similar ones from Motorwerks & they have been fine, they look the same & have BMW branding & can be undone with a screwdriver & reused..
I heard that the jubilee type can be a problem because there isn't the overlapping grip separating the screw from the hose & the screw can cut into it..the original spring clip ones are just really cheap.
