SW Motech Quicklock tankbag - SOLD

Post by milleplod »

I think this was called a 'Daybag'. Its had a fair bit of use, evidenced by the fading seen in one of the photos - the original black can be seen where the release strap's been unclipped. The zips work perfectly and the bag has never let any water in, even though I've never used the waterproof cover - good job too, as the cover went missing ages ago! Clear map pocket to the top (which also takes a mobile, handy if you need to fire up your satnav app!). The bag expands with a zip - unexpanded, its plenty big enough to take a phone, gloves, a drink etc etc. I'll leave the bottom attachment ring on as my replacement 'Ion' bag came with one. Note that the bottom ring has been in 2 positions (ie there are 2 sets of holes in the base) as its been used on more than one bike.

New ones start at around £65/70.

Asking £25 to include delivery. You'll need to buy the filler-cap adapter fitting, which I think are about £20.

Can't you just buy an "evo ring" and bolt it on, like the one shown?

Al
If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......
Then plug me back in..........

See if that works .....

I already have an evo ring on the F8GS Al, that bag is the older none evo ring :)

What I'll probably end up doing is flogging my OEM BMW tankbag for the K12GT and buy a new evo bag and ring (there's offers for buying both together) for it then I can use the bag on both bikes :)
