Needed a top box for commuting duties, but didn't want to pay £200 to £300 for BMW's offering
Off to eBay to bid on a brand new one from a dealer. Surprisingly no one else bid so I snaffled it for £11 .... sorted
Popped it on today and it's perfect with an included QD mounting too

I never get bargains like that!! Bike needs a Boxertrix sticker tho - and maybe some rim tape? (thought I'd get that in before Blackal gets here)

Dave is right, it needs something to break up the solid block of black from wheels and tyres.
It's a tidy looking machine. I would like to try it back to back with the Triumph!
P.s. Check the tyre pressures on your motor!

It's off road at present, I have to pump the tyres up on the right side once a month
My understanding re the triumph and the F800GS is the triumph is a better road bike but the bmw a better dual purpose, to me living where I do and wanting a bike to commute in all weathers including snow made the F800GS more suited to my purpose
