How's it all work.........

The ones I've seen you need software for real time map viewing on your pc plus X amount of £ a month subscription

I "think" you send a text to the sim number that's in the phone and it replies with the GPS co-ords

Then you can pop onto google maps and enter the co ords to see where the device is :)

Then you tool up with baseball bats for a "visit" ;)

One proviso is if you want it "on" all the time the bike would have to be on a maintenance charger or in use as I believe the "phone" bit flattens the battery over the course of a week.

For a regular commuter it'd be OK, either way the peace of mind is worth it I guess and as you say at that price got to be worth a go :)

Not GPS for that cash? Shirley?

I'm ok with getting the long and lat via a text but not to the nearest mast.
how do you know if they telling porkies if they are showing maps of Google in the add.
