Rearsets?

Post by Motocod »

Does anyone make any for the 1100S? I'm not looking to change the riding position, but it would be nice to have a slightly more precise gear linkage. As standard it's a little sloppy.

I've seen rear sets advertised on ebay. A firm shove to change the gear is cheaper.

I found dismantling the linkage and greasing all the joints helped. There was a German firm that produced an alternative gearbox shaft link, the curved lever that bolts to the gear selector shaft. It boasted a sharper shift, but it was over 100 Eu many years ago.

The issue I have is that all of the joints are really sloppy. I might take a look at getting some spherical joints and mock something up using CAD and the 3D printer...
