BMW Executive Package for R1100s

Post by Nookiebear »

Option code Q424A.

I have found a sight where you put in your last 7 digits of your vin and it brings up all details of your bike on first registration plus all options on the bike.

http://www.bmwarchiv.de/vin/bmw-vin-decoder.html

My bike has the executive pack installed and I need to know what that entails, also I have found a code saying my bike has wide tyres, this has me a little concerned as I recently put a 5 inch tyre on my bike replacing the old tyre without checking. Now going to have to measure the wheel to see if I need to replace the tyre with a 5.5 inch one.

Anyone help with this executive pack info?

Rumour has it that there was a yellow tie and a pair of stainless steel cufflinks under the seat cowl.

Part of my initial purchase deal of the bike was they put a new tyre on the back. It was a 5 on the wide rim.I rode it to bald no problem.

On the right track. The executive pack was actually a badly fitting tweed 'Sports Jacket' with 3 inch wide check pattern to be worn over corduroy trousers.

The mullet was also optional but was discontinued in 2005.

Perhaps the original owner specified from the choice of optional racks.

There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity
