Trackday weekend 2013

Post by slparry »

Right .... anyone here fancy a possible trackday on the weekend of 6th/7th/8th September this year at Ty Croes race track on Anglesey ... actual track day the 7th?

If anyone watches Fifth Gear it's the track that Vicky Butler Henderson and Tiff Needel are often testing cars on. Very scenic with the Irish sea and Snowdonia as a backdrop.

I'm looking at ball park figures here but ..... a hotel local to the track on the Friday night for £50 d, b&b per person per night, day at the track for £100 per bike ... so maybe £200 all in for the weekend?

Let me know if you fancy it and want me to see if I can get deals.

Not sure about tracking my bike... (actually, I'm in Berlin that week for the Berlin Music Festival anyway)

But... it's an awesome track. I did a car day there last year - it has a bit of everything - elevation changes, hairpin, corkscrew section, and some incredibly fast sweepers. The pit facilities are excellent, too.

Highly recommended.

Very interested but the wrong dates. Any dates in July or in the latter part of September? With which company is it?

And that will be a better position for us all to be in, because we can predict a lack of h20, a good dollop of temperature and lots of babes/guys swooning over your lunchbox

Mr. Spock is my role model so be advised; I possess no (discernible) sense of humour.

It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.
