I got mine from a guy on here, must have been in 2006 just after I got the bike. It is machined in ally with an O ring on it to make it a positive fit.
I think Boxer Design & Wunderlich do them as well.

'fraid not mate. Was on the bike when I bought it. I agree it is nice and it acts as quite a good anti-theft device. To remove the wheel you have to prize out the recessed badge which is attached by velcro. There's an almost invisible slot where you can just insert a small screwdriver. Underneath there is a cap-screw that has to be removed before the cover can be removed to expose the wheel nuts. Perhaps a fellow trixter will recognise it and can tell us more?

It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.

It is very similar, but not quite the same as the one I had on my old 11S, I bought mine from streetfighters.com via ebay, they had about 5 of them only, and were a one off production run ( not enough interest apparently )
I sold mine on to Ruffy, don't know if he still has it?

I see what you mean Dai. Mine has quite a long(1.5"?), hollow boss in the centre that fits into the middle of the wheel.

All the ones i looked at have been too big but a BMW badge on another make may be what it is

Then again it's probably bespoke as it's quite possibly easier to make one from scratch than bodge one to fit
