It's all VFR (DCT) round here now. STILL missing my 1100s tho.

Well I've had HIDs fitted since last summer
. At first I just had the 'dip' but It wasn't long before I fitted the main as well. The contrast of going from HID dip to ordinary 'main' was laughable. And, since the box came with both dip and head (They even took out one H1 bulb and replaced it with the required high beam H7 for me.) from these people ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Xenon-HID-Hea ... 53e946af0c ) the most dificult part was finding somewhere to mount the 'gubbins'. On the 11S the dip is 'on' permanently whilst the main is, effectivly, just switched on and off. I read on Wikipedia that there could be a problem caused by cycleing the bulb on and off too quickly so I'm looking for a HI/LO H7 bulb that will be on all the time. Aparently these mearly move from low to high by physicaly changeing the position of the bulb 'filament' thus avoiding a hot-cold-hot situation. Fitting one of these would have the added advantage of providing two 'dip' beams simultaniously. Trouble is, I'm having a real problem locating an 'HID HI/LO H7' bulb so if anybody knows of one; Let me know?
Wiki Quote:-
"Factors of wear come mostly from on/off cycles versus the total on time. The highest wear occurs when the HID burner is ignited while still hot and before the metallic salts have recrystallized."
