Every day is the day for it!! Rode to work last night had a to$$er (in a cup a souped up Corsa) who had overtaken a car just before a bend coming towards me on my side of the road, a farmer in his Nissabushizuzu 4 x 4 with a big round bale of hay in the back pull out after stopping to look down the road then a young girl in a Polo wait until I was on the junction then pull out on me - this was all within the first 10 miles of a 20 miles ride to work!!! Then I've got to drive 340 miles in my "van" and it starts all over again!!

A lot of people on the road are on drink and/or drugs....

You have to be wary of a confrontation as you never know how they will react....

I have to admit...I do let fly with a decent amount of verbal abuse ...but I do make sure I have a escape route!

Thanks for your comments people. I don't normally get wound up by other drivers but this one really got to me. Riding into London every day I see a lot of inconsiderate driving and riding. It seems to me that everyone is in such a hurry that normal courtesy and common sense are left behind.

As a PS I saw something this morning that made my day. A pedal cyclist was being given a ticket by a police solo for going through a red light. Must have been fairly blatant for the ticket rather than a warning.

 That's a damn good question m8.

because bumping into someone while walking causes no damage, bumping (while riding/driving) into someone or into their vehicle is going to cause possible death, injury and/or expense and hassle

Yes but you know what Dave means. Some folk seem to loose that, "After you." " No, no. After you" thing when they get behind the wheel.
