Nick, check out Buzzz90's posts - he's designed and built a unit for the 11S, and sussed out how to mount it neatly within the dash - no nasty stick-on boxes.

I managed to miss the boat first time around

. Regret that. Now waiting to hear if the has the bits to make another...

And yes, I've read Buzzz90s posts. M/works want £35.00 for a gear position sensor! These things seem to be a more economical solution. They're all over ebay but I cant find anyone who has actualy fitted one.

Not sure why you or anyone else would want one i had one on my Suzuki kettle in 1978 it was great fun watching the number go up and down for about an hour then the novelty wore off and i found it more distracting than usefull
I did discover that i could crash in second gear!

A touch of pressure on the lever will tell you if you have a gear to go or not if there's resistance there's another gear if not there's not

Get the rocket sprockets then you can all but forget about changing gear

Arrived in the post this morning. Only cost a paltry £13.00 so not much to lose but I'm a little sceptical,
