I see the 1100S has its own article as a coming classic..
There's a nice photo too of a possible modern elsie ,(XSR 300) I'll take one in blue and white even though it's a 4 stroke, it's bound to be cheaper than a restored classic.

No question that the XSR will be light and fun. However, could you really drop that much HP if it were to be your only bike.

My MZ Baghira was a hoot around London when I lived there. XT660 engine, WP suspension, Acerbis plastics. Great bike for commuting.
