Claudia is Back!!

Post by timbox2 »

It was a tearful reunion yesterday as my German Bird was delivered back to me, but boy did she look good, even younger than when I last saw her. I had to take her out straight away, even though it was raining she begged me to make her WET!
And to think I was toying with the idea of trading her in, she makes the VFR Ive been riding for the last 6 weeks feel very average.
Heres some of the cleaner pics I took today.

Well, its an odd one,but I was pretty sure it had to be slave or master, so I stripped the hydraulics out as soon as she got back yesterday, reservoir full of black crap, then took slave cyl off and took it apart, massive groove in the bore, so, I have to admit and agree that the accident itself couldnt have caused it, but just really odd, or maybe just a coincidence that it decided to give up after the bash.
I had the parts in stock so to speak, so for good measure replaced the slave unit and fitted a new master cyl kit.

Have to also admit that it feels very different(NICE), to what it was like even before the accident, so maybe it was just about to go all along.

PS: 2 hours to do the lot, peace of p...

Ohh heres a pic of mullered slave
