I happened to be in an office on the Euston Road today when a crowd at the window revealed this unfortunate incident. 09.30 hrs.
BMW car was about to move into the right filter lane, probably without indicating. Fazer was overtaking the car and ran out of space; impact was right at the point where the centre curb begins to widen for the filter lane. It was unseen, but my thought is the bike rode up the front of the car on impact and flipped. Rider was moving his arms about as they stretchered him away. Car driver was breathalised, was o.k. and drove away - turning right. No leaks from the bike while it was inverted and only lost a cup full of oil when it was stood up.
