my bike lives outside all year round and without taking the seat off and tucking the socket away does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way of protecting the autocom socket from the elements that I propose to dangle from under the seat?

Autocom state that the socket on the end of the fly lead should not be covered as that promotes condensation.
The socket will be ok to the elements.
Me I just make sure that mine is dangleing downwards
Oh and the ocassional smear of silicon grease

top tip
I should have realised a bit of silicon grease will stop it turning green and crusty when exposed to the elements
