Well ... uh ... aren't cilinder rocker cover protectors supposed to do just that? Protect the rocker cover?

Yep, reckon so...

The metal puck isn't supposed to fly off, though! When I saw that I thought, "Oh - puck off!"

Or words to that effect.

Ka-Ching!

Ouch! - you should have saved it with your ankle----------- :?

Those carbon "protectors" are only for pose value, and saving your sump contents in the event of a long slide up the road. Any other time - they are an expensive liability.

I threw my GSA up the road and had to pay £53 +vat for a new steel protection plate. :D

So - what's Santa getting asked for this year????

Well, if you'd pop up to Spittal sometime around Hogmanay, you'd stand a chance of seeing it. Maybe not in its finished state, but...

I'll post piccies of course, charting the various stages in its life.

(heh heh)
