Now then!

I just replaced the number plate with a new one, last one had about 8 holes in it!!

When you look at the rear of the bike the plate looks "Wonky", screw holes are correct and the top of the plate is level with the red reflectors. I have also released the pipe clamp between the cans and cat to see if there's any adjustment there with no luck. Any ideas?

Could it be an optical illusion caused by the asymmetric parawotsit rear?
Could also be a bent rear subframe....

Thanks for comments,

..........cheched for optical illusion and subframe all Ok,
on further investigaton, removal of number plate bracket it apprears that the left side can is 4-5mm lower than the right......does anyone know if there is any adjustment to be gained and how do you get to the hangers below the seat?

Silencer mount support rubber is missing on the left side.

No adjustment, solid pins. Slacken joint on up pipe, get torch and spray WD40 into the rubber mounts, loosen around rubber mounts with long thin screwdriver, repeat WD40/screwdriver applications until cans slide off rearwards. Or you may have to TW*T them with a Jason mallet. You should be able to see if both rubber sleeves are fitted - shine a torch over the top of the cans at 12 o'clock on each barrel.

Now then!

I've had chance to have a good "poke around" both rubber support mounts are there although both seem to be in place at the bottom but push out at the top, is this the norm? if i leave it do you think it will cause any problems later on?

I have fixed the number plate being a bit "wonky by inserting a small washer in the rhd number plate support where it's attached to the can,you can hardly see it and it now sits fine!
