TYRE UPDATE

Post by Nick »

Well had the Metzeler M3's fitted at 13500miles just done 18400miles and rear punctures. I was not far off the wear indicator in the centre and it had squared off but could easily go another 700miles from them.

Thats 4900 +700 = 5600miles only got 3000miles out of the M1's

They have been the best tyres I have used on the S :D but the price has gone up. :(

Paid £128.00 fitted to loose wheel only paid £101.00 for the last one.

M3's

Got a pair on my R1200S and I dont like them at all. They are grippy but too harsh and transmit every bump.

That's not harsh, that's called feedback. Something Metzeler tires are always very good at imo. One of the reasons I love Metzeler.
