been pissing down all day so perfect for tinkering with the recently purchased 2002 bcr, it was bought with a full remus 2 into 2 system, and i have found today that theres no performance chip or filter, should i be purchasing or are the gains not worth fannying for, if so what and where.

Craig - is the Remus with the centre box? If so you'll not be needing a chip. Even with a straight-thru I wouldn't worry too much (especially with std intake system) - fair few folk on here running systems sans 'performance' chip.
