Guys rather than detract from the fuelling thread,i'll start another so i hope you pick it up.
Re either WSB or GP's you have to organise it youselves cuz you'll need a morgage to go through the likes, Of Big Ripoff!!,to me there like chalk and cheese, better?? different?? who knows, i've(we) have been to just as many, last summer just gone,we spent two weeks on the road, northern France,Sachsenring German GP,(Colditz),2 days in Prague,2 days up on the Polish Czech boarder in the mountains and then down to Bruno for the WSB round.
I'm lucky enough to have enough contacts to wander around the GP Paddock, which i can do as a punter at a WSB round, the same but different i guess,as for likes and dislikes of tracks,i'm easy going sure Le-Mans is a shit hole, thank heavens not all tracks are like that,go to a GP there??? you must be jokeing, but the 24 hour in April is a gem the fact that someone is pissing up the fence 3ft from hotdog stand is just part of it,but i say that, knowing my way around, ride there, lock bike in hotel garage, get on bus(it's faster)and just carry a rucksack, completely hassle free.
As for my opinion on the the Lauszitsring,it's based on other circuits that i've been to, most of e'm has mean't rideing there, including Sachsenring,Nurburgring,Assen,Le-Mans,Monza,Misano,Mugello,Imola,Barcelona,Valencia,Jerez(the only one i haven't),Estoril,Paul Ricard,Bruno, but for anyone thinking of going, ask!!! we keep all hotel address's,were back to the MSL article!!! surely if you've got the brains to ride a bike then surely people are capable of organiseing themselves and saveing a lot of money te-boot!!.
Were off to Jerez in march,no not rideing i've seen to many poor souls try it,it's the snow storms around Madrid that do e'm,we've been before, organiseing it has been interesting,(a major understatement!!!),because the likes of Big Ripoff block book hotels, but there's always another way of skinning a cat!!but part of the fun really.
