Calling London Riders

I've just seen the following message on a car site that I follow.
I appreciate that there is more chance of losing your roof to a tornado than finding this fellow road user, however it is worth a try.
If nothing else, it serves as a reminder, as if we need one, to ''be careful out there'' (was that in Hill Street Blues?).

Hi all,
I know this is a long shot, but anyway.... Last night I was knocked
off my motorbike on the A406 Nth Circular at about 6:15 pm. I was doing
about 50mph, and some silly bint in a red Smart car decided she wanted
to put her car where my bike was. I slid for about 50 yards and by the
grace of someone up there didn't get run over or break anything, just a
sprained ankle and some bruises.
The point of this though is that she just drove on without stopping.
Which means I'll be paying my own insurance excess and replacing my destroyed clothing and helmet.
So, if any of you frequent the A406 around Tottenham, near the new
Ikea, and see a reddish-orange Smart driven by a 30-something year old
woman with dark curly hair, probably with damage to the passenger door
(a dent, or blue paint scrapes) I'd be VERY grateful if you'd take the
reg number and email me.
Thanks all, appreciate the help, and sorry to waste time for those of
you outside London.
Ian
