Bloody hell they hid the battery well on these bikes didn't they
Thought I'd install the connector plug thingy off my optimate charger on the bike so I don't have to get to the battery very often. An hour (+) later the job's done and I'm glad I don't have to do that again in a hurry.
How long do you lot take to do get to the battery?

Don't bother with the battery, just plug the optimate into the power socket. If you have not got one then buy it from the dealer, they are around £10 if my memory serves me right.

Re: Getting to the battery
About 5 minutes nowadays - I just stand by the bike then like a Colour Seargent I shout "GET YOUR CLOTHES OFF NOW YOU DIRTY LITTLE GIRL" and they all fall off automatically. The fastest I think I've done it is when I had to remove the tank and drain it after filling it up with diesel in a Bucherest (spelt wrong!) petrol station. 40 Minutes from "oh shit" to "thank god for that"Seveneer wrote: How long do you lot take to do get to the battery?

You'll get used to it!
