If your stuck, there's a garage in Sutton (South London) that builds & customises but also does MOT's. PM me if you need the details.

I have had mine MOT'd at Bill Bunn Motorcycles in Ealing with both Van der Linde and Laser pipes and cans on my bikes, and they have not batted an eyelid as they wrote out the certificate. There is also a cafe across the road that does an absolutely fabulous fried breakfast while you wait the 45 minutes that the government computer thinks an MOT inspection should take.
Cheers,
Paul

I can also recommend
Burwin motorcycles in Islington which can be found
here . Take all my bikes there - they'll even give you a coffee in a chipped mug, like all proper bike shops should.

Seek out Simon in the motorcycle shop in Herne Bay on the Broadway. I specifically asked him about my full Laser two weeks ago. He gave me a run down of the things he looks for - all essential and sensible. I pointed out that he hadn't mentioned the exhaust. He doesnt see them and doesnt want to hear them. He also races a Honda outfit with his brother in the chair. He does need the log book. Proper bloke.

Thanks all for feedback!
I will give it a go next week as soon as the sun comes out for long enough (as I don't want to ruin months of half hearted and somewhat sad polishing on such a short trip!).

'tis done, and no problems.
I went for Harrow Rd as Bill Bunn's is a little too close to my former employer (and almost certainly meant having to run the gauntlet of cameras, etc).
Thanks again to all!
