Getting to the battery

Bloody hell they hid the battery well on these bikes didn't they
Thought I'd install the connector plug thingy off my optimate charger on the bike so I don't have to get to the battery very often. An hour (+) later the job's done and I'm glad I don't have to do that again in a hurry.
How long do you lot take to do get to the battery?

Fit an Odyssey, you won't need to go there again for a few years

Don't bother with the battery, just plug the optimate into the power socket. If you have not got one then buy it from the dealer, they are around £10 if my memory serves me right.

About 5 minutes nowadays - I just stand by the bike then like a Colour Seargent I shout "GET YOUR CLOTHES OFF NOW YOU DIRTY LITTLE GIRL" and they all fall off automatically. The fastest I think I've done it is when I had to remove the tank and drain it after filling it up with diesel in a Bucherest (spelt wrong!) petrol station. 40 Minutes from "oh shit" to "thank god for that"
You'll get used to it!

Yip! tried to fit the optimate power lead, and took me over an Hour.
Cleaned out the airfilter, and other out of the way areas when she was striped.
Not a place to vist on a daily basis!!!!

If you get the BMW power socket it plugs in under the seat on off side. No need to take tank off, just need to adapt optimate with male plug.
