GIVI Monorack for R1100s

Post by Blackal »

Does anyone know where to get a "bike specific" Givi monorack for their top-boxes?

I ordered one a year ago and got the Givi F681 "Universal" rack. It looks a bit clumsy compared to the "proper" ones that I have seen in photographs of bikes.

Spoke to Busters who don't have a specific model listed for the R1100s - they only supply the Universal one?

Can anyone help? :?

Well, that was a load of boxerbollox I was talking:

What I got was the F1000 universal mount (which is clumsy).

Thanks to Adamski49 who clarified things.

So - next stop is to get an F681 rack which should do the trick.

Al

Try 1st Line Motorcycles

Cheapest I've found on the 'net and it's where I got mine. They seem to know everything Givi so you'll get the right rack this time.

Adamski49 kindly gave me the following link.

http://www.givi.it/caschi_borse_bauli_a ... p?CO_ID=71

which shows the set-up.

As I have the box and the plate - I have to make use of it and fit a rack. With the 46ltr box, standard BMW pan-ears and a small tankbag - I see serious touring ahead :D
