For Bikes With No Centrestand

Post by Blackal »

Thought I'd show you this nifty do-hicky for manoeuvring bikes around the garage. It allows me to get the bike completely along the far wall of the garage, which in turn - allows me the most space for the car.

I bought the trolley from Hein-Gericke but the arm that supports the side-stand is not available from the UK. The forward support of the arm also has a castor, and the side stand support plate adjusts for position on the arm.

It is available from Simon Becker (who also supplies the plate to HG) at:

by mail-order.

The cost of the arm was £45-ish including postage, on top of the castor-plate which runs around £65.

But........ if your bike has no centre-stand - it is a must

I sent Simon €'s in cash and he taped the change to the arm! :D

Although I've shown the stand with the Daytona on it - it is absolutely brilliant for the BoxerCup too.

If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......
Then plug me back in..........

See if that works .....
