Stainless brake hose fitting (rear, non-ABS)

Has anyone fitted a goodridge hose or similar to the rear of their S?

From the master cylinder runs a metal pipe that ends in a block with a female thread. Into that goes what looks like a female to male adapter, then the standard hose screws onto that.

Will the thread at the end of the replacement hose go straight onto this adapter, or do I need to replace it, and if so - what thread size to what?

Would like to get the right bits all present and correct before I take it apart! :?

I've had a pipe made up so that I can junk all that metalwork and take the pipe from the master cylinder direct to the caliper.
Had the Goodrich system before which came with all the relevant banjo bolts - only had to send the kit back once coz their first attempt was for a pre 2001 model with the brembo badged calipers.

Hmmm, could be a plan.

I looked at the weekend. Is that a standard banjo bolt thread in the top of the master cylinder then? and have you had any sealing issues as the top of the master cylinder doesn't have a machined surface?

Would still prefer to get a line with the correct in-line connector if anyone knows what adaptor fits ... :?
