Hi all. I am after a set of shocks for my every day ride. Has anyone had any experience of the above shocks. I do not want to spend a lot of money but want a good pair that will last. I have ohlins on my original 1100s but they are way ok of my budget

any feedback would be great.

No experience of YSS, but had you thought of getting your originals fully rebuilt and reworked to your requirements? There's a guy over on UKGSer, username Denz0 (Luke) who does them - they come back looking like new, re-valved and with new springs to suit your weight/riding. He's done loads, I've had 2 sets done with him - can't recommend him enough, and I'd contend that you'd get better results than with off-the-shelf units too.

+1 for Denz0, great service, had front & rear units serviced, upgraded springs & set for weight etc and lowered for less than a new shock would have cost.

Great info thanks. I haven't thought of that route. I will give this some thought. Thanks
