Oh dear...................

Due to some fault in your continuum transfunctioner - you have found your way into "The UK-based forum for BMW's sportiest Boxer motorcycles"

You require at the very minimum................... An R1200RS :D

Hello Andy, nice to see you back.

They are right R1200rs or the R1200r, both liquid cooled boxer’s, hell of an engine, smooth and powerful, and add the quick shifter wow, get a test ride, I doubt you’ll be disappointed.
Phil.

R1200S and loving it !

Welcome back Andy. This is an RS:

It's like all of your best rose tinted memories of an R1100S, made flesh. All of the cool kids ride them these days

So, spill the beans, what has prompted your return to biking?

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Hi Andrew, nice to see you are alive and kicking. I can recommend the r1200r if you want sporty. I suggest a test ride. Currently it is the sportiest boxer in production. It will also do two up, carry luggage and has traditional roadster looks now it has lost that bulky front end that the telelever produces. It really can be hustled without all the wavy wafty stuff that you see with the taller bikes. It`s only for the fit lads mind it can test the neck and shoulders when pushed on a bit.

Chris
Fiat Panda.
Fiat Scudo (with speedblock, pipe carrier, reversing sensors, reversing camera, tow bar, some new rust and Fake Plumber logo)

started out with nothing, still have most of it left.

Do a refresher course with a local instructor... and if you still want to return ,book as many test rides as you can on as many different manufacturers bikes as possible .
