Snetterton track day today, my first ever on my S and my first for about 15 yrs !!
Well, I was astounded at how well the S performed.
I was in the "Slow" group but there were still probably 50% track bikes out there with me, and only 2 or 3 that had, like me, ridden to the circuit.
Anyway, I was very very pleasantly surprised at how I got back into the groove and the S looked after me so well, passing people on their multis ( who'd blasted past me on the straights ) on the brakes and thru' the bends.
The S is amazingly quick when rev'd really hard, and super stable around long corners like Corams, and what with staying on the brakes deep into the hairpins we were able to acquit ourselves very respectably.
We were probably quickest of the rest if you took the track bikes out of the equation.
