Beware - I tried different headlamp bulbs (100w) in my R1200ST which has canbus and it refused to light both bulbs - "canbus detected a fault".

Instead I run two LED Spotlights that I got from e bay for £19 (metal body and brackets 3 Leds in each - Glass lenses these are wired via switch from the battery (therefore avoiding canbus) search ebay for this Number 121918072777 . They are very bright and low consumption.

They look good but the lack of waterproofing would bother me

I have ridden in absolute downpours since fitting them without issue. The wires come out the back through rubber grommets.
