Guys,

Can anyone indicate what spec. oil i should be using in the R1100S? There are plenty of threads regarding the process for replacing seals (which i need to do) & the oil, but few elaborate on what specific oil i should be using?

Thanks Steve.. out of interest, where did you get this info from? I could do with a good reference on the R1100S spec's (probably in my Haynes manual if i was to read it...)...

Also worth noting, the oil is merely a lubricant, it does not do damping. I believe quantity is determined by measuring down from the fork top to the top of the oil with the forks extended; different depth for different forks.
