Just fitted one of the John's chip to my 2003 BCR with abs. Put the bike back together and the fuel pump starts to prime but then doesn't switch off. I had marked the two fuel lines so there is no way they are connected incorrectly. Thinking it was the chip, I contacted John who was excellent and sent another. Just fitted it this morning and I have the same problem. Going to put the original chip back to check if it IS the new chips, unless anyone has other ideas? Fuel pump connector under the tank is fine with no corrosion etc. Is it possible something has gone (a fuel line) in the tank? The bike was running fine (and I had recently filled the tank) before I fitted the first chip, but I suppose it is possible(?)

Latest update. Stripped the tank etc off again, and replaced the chip from John with the BMW original chip. Tank etc back on, bike started first time with no issues. Anyone fitted one of Johns chips to their BCR and had similar problems? The two chips he supplied were stage 7 (first one) and what looks like stage 9 (?) for the second.
