That's a lot less than you'd pay for an original SS100. I wonder what TE Lawrence would make of it - perhaps he'd have gone for a modern rocket instead - he liked speed.

Beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that, and of course everything is subjective but for me; I thought it was a dogs dinner when I first saw a photo back when it was announced and nothing has changed. Bloody awful.

I'd be quite pleased if the missus bought me one for Christmas (using her own money, of course, otherwise it wouldn't count).

It's quite light by current standards, at 186kg (dry?), and I'm increasingly seeing that as a good thing, with advancing years. Most bikes are well over 200kg these days, and that takes a bit of wrestling out of our slightly awkward drive.

Yes, I wouldn't grumble if one arrived on the doorstep - I'd keep it for sure.

Don't see the point of these replicas, really. Unless one has money to burn when it sort of makes sense. Any modern motorcycle will be better in all departments but looks. For that money I can think of many much more interesting things.
